One of the tropes of French effortless chicness is the classic wicker basket seen on the arm of many iconic women, such as Jane Birkin, on the way to a boulangerie or simply while out and about. For this concept, baskets spring up in any shape or form. Handcrafted wicker mushrooms, sunflowers and snails produced by a traditional basket-maker in northern Germany.
