Sarah Illenberger

Sarah Illenberger is a Berlin-based artist, illustrator and designer. Using simple materials and everyday items such as paper, food, textiles and wood she creates analog installations which bring new perspectives onto familiar forms and content. These transformations, often with a sense of humor, remind us to look again at what we would otherwise glance over. Her objet trouvé style works, both photographed and real, can be found in window displays, magazines, books and digital media across the world. By turning over these mundane items, she often reveals an essence that lies just below the surface and instills in us a sense of wonder.
