IKEBANA

Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, uses carefully selected natural elements to create a whole that evokes a specific story and feeling. Following this conceptual basis, these images were created using materials that were found in Italy during the artist’s residency at Villa Lena. Each composition is formed by items that were freely placed together, without any binding techniques. The resulting images symbolise the balance between man and nature.
